The Village of Dannemora Court is responsible for administering justice and enforcing local laws within the village. The court operates under the New York State Unified Court System and hears cases related to traffic violations, misdemeanors, and violations of local laws and ordinances.
The court is comprised of an elected judge and a court clerk who work to ensure that all cases are handled fairly and impartially. The court also works closely with other local and state agencies to ensure that the village meets all applicable regulations and standards.
The Village of Dannemora Court is responsible for a variety of tasks, including issuing and processing summonses and complaints, conducting trials and hearings, and imposing fines and penalties for violations of local laws and ordinances. The court may also provide assistance and guidance to defendants and plaintiffs, such as explaining legal procedures and providing information on legal rights.

The Village of Dannemora Court is in session the first and third Mondays of the month at 10:00am. The Court Clerk is available on opposite Mondays from 10:00-11:00am.
